Our mission
AgileSP exists to provide the foundational connectivity infrastructure that powers South Africa's digital economy. As a wholesale carrier, we build and operate the backbone that ISPs, content networks, and enterprises depend on to reach their customers and the world.
With presence in 15+ data centres across South Africa and international points of presence in London and Amsterdam, we deliver IP transit, national long distance transport, colocation, and interconnection services at carrier scale. Our peering-first philosophy keeps traffic local, reduces latency, and drives down costs for our customers.

Network
Infrastructure built for scale.
Our network spans South Africa's major metros with international reach into Europe, built on carrier-grade platforms designed for reliability.
AgileSP operates a Juniper MX-based core network with Cisco ASR and Nexus platforms at the edge. Our backbone traverses multiple diverse fibre paths across South Africa, with subsea connectivity via Equiano, WACS, and 2Africa cable systems.
We maintain presence at Teraco (JB1, JB3, CT1, DB1), Africa Data Centres, OADC, iColo, and other key facilities. International PoPs at Equinix LD8 London and NIKHEF Amsterdam provide direct European and global connectivity. Our MANRS-compliant routing practices and always-on DDoS mitigation ensure security and stability.
As active participants in the South African and international peering community, we maintain sessions at NAPAfrica, JINX, AMS-IX, NL-IX, LINX, LONAP, and Speed-IX. Our peering-first traffic engineering philosophy maximises local traffic exchange and minimises latency.
Our 24/7 NOC provides proactive monitoring with automated alerting and rapid incident response, backed by comprehensive network management systems including Iris NMS, Graylog, and FastNetMon.
